It’s cool to have a server run it 24-7 because this will get the most out of your IT, but it is also cool to have it on your client.

It can be configured to only run when you are away from your computer…. not using it while it still consumes power.

It even has nice grafical output, the only thing i understand is the progress bar 😀

You need to register because you are then collecting „points“ and you are in a ranking with others to compete in scoring and stuff.

You can even join a „country“ and see countries compete in generating points.

The social aspect of this is unfortunately only limited on bare statistics.
